October 31st....

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!  I love the costumes, the candy, and the crisp Fall air.  Can you tell that Fall just happens to be my favorite season?  So, I was over the moon excited when American Crafts sent me this brand new exclusive line they made for Target.  It is not available on their website, so hurry and run to your closest Target store to get your fix!

October 31st Layout

When I first laid eyes on this fun Halloween 6x6 Paper Pad I knew right away that I wanted to make a fun patterned pieced background.  I cut these pieces using my Silhouette Cameo then carefully stitched them down on my layout.

I was so in love with the fun sequins that come with this collection that I decided to take out a row of paper strips and adhere them down using my This To That Adhesive.

This Kid is Rad

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope that you are having a great week so far!  It's Wednesday, so that means we made it half way through :)  I am really excited to share with you today another Gallery layout for  American Crafts .  It's my first project that I have made using the new Cut and Paste collection from Amy Tangerine.  This collection has so many fun patterns and pieces in it.  I love that it is perfect for everyday moments and boy layouts too :)

I was so excited when I opened up my DT package and saw this fun die-cut (Command V) paper in there.  The paper already has the slits in it.  So I just folded the slits up, backed it with some fun pattern paper then stitched it down.

This Kid is Rad Layout

I love all of the fun thickers that come with this collection.  I mixed a few to make my title - I love mixing alpha's to create titles.  This collection is also had these fun tags to stitch.  Using the new AC stitching tags and stitching templates has quickly become a staple in my scrapbooking.  I think that adding hand stitching to your layouts has so much impact :)

Hello Happiness

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your week.  I have a layout up on the Bella Blvd blog today that I would like to share with you using this sketch that was given to us.

I have loved being a part of the Bella Blvd team this year, it is hard to believe this is going to be my last assignment for the term.  I wanted to end the year with a sweet and cheerful layout about friendship. The Snapshots collection worked beautifully with the sketch that was given to us.  I stuck with the three main vertical columns in the sketch but incorporated bigger boxes so that I could use 4x6 photos.  I also used the daily details cards, I love the way they complete the layout.

Hello Happiness Layout

Supply List:
Snapshots: Borders Snapshots, Daily Details Snapshots, My Point Of View, Rise & Shine
Cardstock Stickers: Alpha + Bits Snapshots, Captions Snapshots, Arrows Gulf
Die-Cut Shapes: Paper Pieces Snapshots

LPS Sketch September

Hi friends!
I hope you all are enjoying a nice start to your weekend.  Today is the day to share with you the September Sketch Challenge over at Life.Paper.Scrapbook.  I love that this sketch boasts lots of layers, totally fun!

Here is what I created..

Sun and Sand Layout

I was inspired by all the fun layers in the sketch to cut strips of pattern paper and layer it behind a sequin vellum pocket.  I  used the Pier collection by Crate paper on this layout, it has been a favorite of mine lately.

This month's sponsor is Polly! Scrap Kits..

Polly Scrap Kits is a small Australian kit club that offers monthly kits for scrapbooking and project life. We offer fun and happy kits for a really great price. We have a blog filled with inspiration for using your kit each month and with a subscription you know you will get a monthly box goodies that will bring a smile to your face when you open it and some motivation to get creating.
This year we will be offering a December Daily kit and our Design team is going to show you how to make use of it, whether you want to use it for a daily mini album, incorporated into your regular project life, or to make 12x12 layouts for your traditional scrapbook album. - The winner of the prize will be randomly drawn

You have to be in it to win it, so link up your project up on the right over at LPS. Please make sure you link to the correct challenge, there is both a sketch and colour challenge to link up to. If you are linking to a blog, please link to the actual post the layout is featured in, not just the general address and make sure you link back to Life.Paper.Scrapbook.
