You Make My Heart Sing

Hi Everyone,

Happy Friday. I hope you are having a good week so far. Mine has been great. I had my friends Suzy and Lisa over this week to crop at my house. Suzy brought me some fun colorful paper straws to play with. I love paper straws but can only find them around this time of year- so I am going to make it a goal to stock up. I decided to use them on a layout and here is what I came up with:

You Make My Heart Sing:

Paper straws make such a fun and unique embellishment. I was also lucky to score this hexagon punch at an impromptu shopping trip to Joann's with the girls. Even though I can cut lots of shapes with my Silhouette Cameo I love having basic shape punches on hand. This layout came together fairly quickly because of that.

supplies:
cardstock: kraft (American Crafts)
pattern papers: Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm Collection (American Crafts)
vellum paper: Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm Collection (American Crafts)
chipboard pieces: Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm Collection (American Crafts)
spray mist: Mister Huey's (Studio Calico)
enamel dots: My Mind's eye
punches: hexagon (Fiskars)
sewing machine: Brother
thread: Gutermann
paper straws: Joann's

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
