CHA part 2

Hi friends,
Thanks for stopping by again today. Today I would like to share the rest of my CHA pictures and projects with you. Did I mention that this was my very first year attending CHA? It was! And this was my first year having several projects displayed there. At the past CHA (Summer) I had 1 card, so imagine my surprise when I asked to create a whole table display for WOW powders. I was so thrilled and on top of this I got to create for the amazing Heidi Grace for her new company Clever Handmade.

So I will start with showing you the display I made for the WOW powders booth. The DT leads were asked to each take a collection of colors from WOW (mine was the WOW collection) and create a display based on a theme. I chose a greenhouse bird theme.
Here is a peek at the projects that I created:
I had so much fun creating this I embossed the birdcage, birds, pots, flowers, chicken wire frame - pretty much all that you see here.

and a photo of my display in the booth:
I wish that I would have taken a more up close photo of my work, but I was so caught up in the moment that I forgot.

Also have to share the projects that I made for the Clever Handmade booth.
Love you layout:

In the house layout:

these were a challenge because I had a little amount of time and scrapbooking supplies on hand to create these and was literally creating them the night before the show, but I love how they came out and I love Heidi Grace's new line. So fun!

Thanks for stopping by again today and letting me catch up with my CHA projects. As you can tell, I had a blast and feel truly blessed by this experience.

Doesn't the booth look amazing? I am so proud to be part of this team.

I had so much fun creating these 3 layouts and I want to say a big thank you to the Simple Stories team for allowing the WOW girls to create with their products.

I had more projects on display too that were created last minute featuring WOW powders and stamps. Some of these stamps we got in days before going to CHA.

I hope you sing

Hi friends,
I hope that your Wednesday is off to a great start. I have been running around trying to finish last minute extra projects for the WOW powders booth at CHA. Only 2 days till I leave - I am getting excited, can you tell?

I wanted to share with you a card that was recently published in Create: Vintage Idea book 2012 by Northridge publishing that came out earlier this month.

I hope you sing card:

And here it is in print:

I always get so excited to see my work in print. And I love being able to showcase products from companies that I love and design for. For this card I used papers from Authentique's Blissful collection, and the round 25 shape studio tool from Epiphany Crafts. Funny story about my card - did you notice the silver button? My dog distressed it for me. I was sitting around the table scrapping with friends and I noticed that my button was missing. My dog Lilo was sitting under the table and I could hear her chewing on something. So I checked to see what was in her mouth and it was my missing button. The funny thing is that I actually liked the way the button looked more after it was distressed, it was to shiny before and she gave it a distressed look that was perfect for my vintage card. I have to give her credit for that, so thanks Lilo.
That's it for today, I am going to finish up some CHA projects and I will be back tomorrow to show you what I have been working on for the show.

French memo board with Epiphany Crafts and Authentique

Hi friends, hope your week is off to a great start. My week has been in full swing trying to finish up projects and getting ready to leave for CHA.
I wanted to share a recent project that I made for Epiphany Crafts using the Gathering collection from Authentique.
French Memo picture board

I used a fabric french memo board and dressed it up with EC buttons, papers and photos. I am using it in my scrap room to hold photos and little memo notes for reminders.
Here is a peek at it close up:

Sugar and spice and everything nice

Hi everyone,
I hope that your Thursday is off to a great start. I have some fun Ruby Rock-it projects to share with you. Earlier this week the design team was challenged to use something old (pocket and a tag) on a project and something new (banner). I created 3 projects using the new collection Nostalgia from Ruby Rock-it. Here is what I made with the challenge.

Sugar and spice layout:

I created a small banner on this page that incorporates the title and used Ruby Rock-it's paper twine and fundamental stickers to spell out the word spice.

Next up is a card.

You make me happy card:

I used 4 kraft tags on this card. Did you notice that I also snuck a banner in there? Super fun!

And for my last project I created another card.

Grow card:

This one features a pocket (behind the patchwork paper) with a tag sticking out of it. I thought that this would make a fun encouragement card for someone. Speaking of fun, did you notice that cute little chipboard house? It is part of the Bella Fundamentals line made by Ruby Rock-it.

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget that we have a great challenge going on. You can find out all the details here

Epiphany Crafts Valentines

Hi everyone,
I am here today with some sweet Valentines that I have made for Epiphany Crafts.
Here is a fun and creative way to say “I Love You” to someone special!

Valentine Heart pockets

I used the heart 25 shape studio tool as a punch to punch out several hearts to use as confetti. I stitched up the side of these pockets and left the tops open so that they can be used to fill with sweet treats, or love notes.
Epiphany Crafts Supplies:

Round 14 metal settings, Heart 25 shape studio tool, Heart 25 bubblecaps, Heart 20 button tool, Heart 20 acrylic buttons

Additional supplies:

Pink Paislee Nantucket collection – papers, die cuts
Crate paper Random collection – ticket sticker
Glitz Beautiful dreamer collection – tulle
mini pom pom ribbon – Joann’s
adhesive: Scotch ATG, Helmar’s quick dry 450

I hope this project inspires you to make your own heart shaped pockets for someone special. It’s true, a sprinkle of Epiphany Crafts around your projects and crafts and it makes everything better. That's why Epiphany Crafts is giving away a heart button studio tool on their blog this week. Stop by the EC blog for all the fun details.
