1.  Start out by gathering your supplies.

2. To create party favors, use scissors or an electronic die cutting machine to trim 20 long banner pieces (each measuring about 1" x 4 1/2") from specialty papers.

3.  Use liquid adhesive to wrap each banner piece around top of straw.

4. To create banner: Trim a piece of sequin ribbon in length, the same with as your burlap pennant pieces.  Use liquid adhesive to adhere to top of each pennant piece.  Affix "X"and "O" letters to each of your pennant pieces.

5. Use scissors or an electronic die cutting machine to cut out large heart from Specialty Gold Foil Cardstock.

6. Create banner by pinning "XOXO" burlap banner pieces and large heart to jute twine (included with burlap banner kit) with large clothespins.  Tuck party favors into muslin bags and place in a tin to add a festive look to your decor and for easy access for parties.

This party set is perfect to celebrate a loved one or to host a love themed party!

I hope that you enjoyed my project today!  Have a good day!

Birthday party favors

Hi friends,

I hope you are enjoying your summer so far, ours has been filled with many trips to the pool and birthday parties! We just celebrated my son's 10th birthday this weekend and I thought that it would be fun to make party favors featuring Bella! new fusion line and decoupage party pieces.

Birthday wish treat box:

I created the treat box using my Silhouette Cameo and 3d pyramid gift box cutting file by Lori Whitlock. Bella! fusion papers fit nicely with the party theme.

and a little something for the girls that came to the party (I added a pearl to this one, to bling it up a bit):

I used Bella! silver and white lace tape to decorate the boxes, and added sentiments and presents from the decoupage party collection. I just love how these came together, so much better than a store bought treat box.

Very simple and easy to make, and sure to be a big hit with the kids too!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope my party favors have inspired you to make your own for your next event!
