This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of http://canoncreativegirl.blogspot.com/.  I do receive financial compensation and material product from Pink Paislee to develop my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.

I hope that you are enjoying the projects that the Pink Paislee team has shared so far in Mix'n'Match week!  I'm sharing a layout using pieces from the C'est La Vie and Fancy Free collections.

Pattern piecing is one of my favorite techniques. I love mixing patterns and colors together. When I saw this beautiful pink paper with a hexagon print from the C'est La Vie collection, I knew right away just how I wanted to use it.

With a pencil and a piece of tracing paper, I measured the the size of the hexagons on the background paper. Then I hand cut several pieces of patterned paper from the C'est La Vie and Fancy Free collections into small hexagons. I used the background paper as a template for my cut pieces.

I added several puffy stickers and a paper clip from the C'est La Vie collection, as well as puffy stickers, ephemera, and buttons from the Fancy Free collection. I love how well these two collections coordinate together. Do you like to mix and match more than one collection together while working on a project? If so, we would love for you to share it with us on the Pink Paislee Facebook Page!

Hi everyone, I hope that you are enjoying all of the lovely projects that our creative team have created so far using the spiral notebook.  I have a post to share with you today, sharing different pages that I have made within my notebook!

I started by dedicating the first section as my Hello Today section, this is my introductory page into 2o16, and is a section where I can jot down goals and aspirations for the year ahead.

The Ooh La La page is a transparent page with a photo of my daughter underneath, I will use this section to jot down her growth and challenges throughout the year.  IE - she just got her very first job, so I know she has goals for saving for college and for her first car.

The Friends Page - I plan on using this section of my notebook to plan future photography gigs and shoots, like the shoot that I did on this day to capture my daughter with her friends.

Pink Paislee | Go 3D!

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of http://canoncreativegirl.blogspot.com/.  I do receive financial compensation and material product from Pink Paislee to develop my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.

Hi everyone, I hope you have been enjoying all the creative ways our talented team has created bold titles all week.  I am sharing a layout today that has a repeating 3D title that also doubles as my background.

I have had this cut file for a long time now and was waiting for a chance to use it in a unique way.  I thought that a layout about my Valentine was the perfect fit!  To create my layout I first cut out my background using my Silhouette.  This cut file was designed by Barbara Picinich for Studio Calico.  I was designed to only cut half of each letter, so that you fold over the other half and have a 3d title!  Genius!

Because I love patterned paper,  I cut additional X’s and O’s out of various pieces and then adhered them to each popped out piece.  I love the way the title came out but I also love the acetate and gold dipped chipboard in the C’est La Vie collection, so I added those too!  To finish I splashed ink and paint across the page, added my photo and a few other embellishments.  I hope that you enjoyed my post today and that you are inspired to create your own layout for Valentine’s Day!

Pink Paislee | Desk Home Decor

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of http://canoncreativegirl.blogspot.com/.  I do receive financial compensation and material product from Pink Paislee to develop my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.

I'm excited to share a home office decor project with you today using the new C'est La Vie collection from Pink Paislee.  I love cute projects that I can display in my home office.  Even better if they are decor projects that can be changed out easily for different occasions.  To do so easily I love to use clip frames.

I found this clip frame at my local hobby shop.  I added bits and pieces from the ephemera pack, paper clips, cork pieces and puffy stickers.  There are so many pieces to this collection that I love!

I printed a couple of small wallet sized photos and added a frame to the bottom piece and a black watercolor acetate letter.  It all came together in snap!  This is a fun project that you can easily display in your home or office, and change out easily for different seasons or occasions.

Pink Paislee | C'est La Vie Cards

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of http://canoncreativegirl.blogspot.com/.  I do receive financial compensation and material product from Pink Paislee to develop my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.

When I received the C'est La Vie collection, I just couldn't wait to sit down and play with all the beautiful embellishments.  Those cork hearts!!  And the mirrored stickers!!  So fabulous!

I whipped up a couple of quick cards using some of my favorite pieces from the collection.

I kept the themes simple so that they can be used as everyday cards.  I try to keep a lot of those on hand to send out when a friend or loved one needs a card.

The simple Me + You theme of my love card could be used as a Valentine's day card, Anniversary card or everyday card.

This collection should be shipping to retailers soon!  I hope you get the chance to pick some of it up.

Pink Paislee | C'est La Vie collection

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of http://canoncreativegirl.blogspot.com/.  I do receive financial compensation and material product from Pink Paislee to develop my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.

C'est La Vie might just be my favorite Pink Paislee line ever!  I mean, bright bold patterns mixed with my favorite colors, graphic lettering and some of the hippest coolest embellishments around!
When I first saw this collection online I thought that I had my favorite pieces picked out.  I always do that with new collections.  But then when it arrived in the mail, I seriously oohed and aahed over it for what seemed to be an embarrassing amount of time.  I really couldn't pick a favorite, so I decided to combine top picks all on one page.

I have always been a huge fan of triangles, angles and black and white stripes, so I combined my love for all three to create my layout base.  Next came the layers - photos, cork embellishments, paper clips, ephemera and words.  I started by placing the words in a vertical design and then just built off of it.

I finished my page by adding some mirrored stickers, washi tape and some simple journaling.  I had the best time playing with this collection and I hope that you love it too!
