Love This Moment

 Hi Everyone,
I hope that you are having a great week so far!  I am really excited to share today's American Crafts Gallery layout with you.  It's my first project that I have made using the new Polka Dot Party collection from Dear Lizzy.  I was so excited when this collection showed up at my door!  It has so many fun patterns and pretty embellishments :)

Love This Moment Layout
I absolutely adore working with large photos.  Once I picked my pattern papers and embellishments this page came together rather quickly.  I love the way that die- cut tag looks layered on top of my photo.  This collection is turning out to be a favorite of mine and I'm not sure if I can make it last 6 months.  I'm thinking that I'm going to need to order extras :)

This collection is a must have, if you think it looks amazing online - let me tell you, it is even more amazing in real life!!

Hello Happiness

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your week.  I have a layout up on the Bella Blvd blog today that I would like to share with you using this sketch that was given to us.

I have loved being a part of the Bella Blvd team this year, it is hard to believe this is going to be my last assignment for the term.  I wanted to end the year with a sweet and cheerful layout about friendship. The Snapshots collection worked beautifully with the sketch that was given to us.  I stuck with the three main vertical columns in the sketch but incorporated bigger boxes so that I could use 4x6 photos.  I also used the daily details cards, I love the way they complete the layout.

Hi friends!
I hope you all are enjoying a nice start to your weekend.  Today is the day to share with you the September Sketch Challenge over at Life.Paper.Scrapbook.  I love that this sketch boasts lots of layers, totally fun!

Here is what I created..

Sun and Sand Layout

I was inspired by all the fun layers in the sketch to cut strips of pattern paper and layer it behind a sequin vellum pocket.  I  used the Pier collection by Crate paper on this layout, it has been a favorite of mine lately.

This month's sponsor is Polly! Scrap Kits..

You Ampersand Me

Hi there!

I have a fun project to share with you today for Bella Blvd  using this fun Pinterest Inspiration image:

You Ampersand Me Layout

I had so much fun using this pinterest inspired image.  I took the idea from the image to use 3 items (2 photos and a title)
in a vertical line.  By keeping my 3 focal images in a line and using limited embellishments, I found that it gave my
layout a very clean and linear look and kept the focus on my photos.  The Daily Chevies papers were the perfect way to
showcase these special photos that I took of my kids at the park having a brother-sister moment.

supplies:
Christmas Countdown: City Sidewalks
Daily Chevies: Chevy Oreo, Chevy Peep, Chevy Carrot
Die Cut Shapes: Paper Pieces Trick Or Treat
Crochet Hearts: McIntosh Hearts

Crate Paper - August Creative Challenge

Hi There!

This month I decided to take part in a fun challenge on the Crate Paper Blog which is all about Navy Blue and sequins.  I was recently given these awesome photos by good friend  taken of her sweet daughter Sierra.
They come to visit with us often and were just here to stay with us a a couple of weeks ago.  Whenever we get together we always do fun photo shoots of the kids.  Suzy recently took these photos at a train station near her house and when I saw them I knew right away I had to use them on a project (or two).

Anyways, on to my layout.  Since the challenge was all about Navy blue and sequins I thought these photos of Sierra were perfect since she was already wearing a Navy blue dress.  I built my layout around that using a mix of Crate Paper collections and embellishments. So fun!

Lovely Lady Layout

This layout came together quickly once I decided to stitch a vellum pocket with lots of sequins inside.

I love this Ephemera die-cut collection pack from the DIY shop collection.  I loved all the vintage looking pieces that went along with my layout.  Those fun doilies are a punch from Martha Stewart that I bought recently and they are quickly becoming a fun staple of mine to use on all my projects.  Anyways, that's my layout that I put together for the challenge, I love the way it turned out and I hope that Crate will like it too :)

supplies:
Crate paper: The Pier collection papers, Ephemera die -cut collection pack - DIY shop, Flashcard Thickers, Fox Glitter Foam Thickers, photo overlays - DIY shop, The Pier layered stickers - Standouts, Studio Calico - Atlantic sequin mix
